Laurence Creighton was born in Worthing, UK but forged his homegrown adventures in the warmer climes of Cape Town, South Africa.

A master of the Quill, the prolific Laurence wrote over twenty adventure games for the ZX Spectrum. His career was almost truncated when the radio signal from the local taxi firm interfered with the picture from his Speccy. To get around this, he ended up writing his later games using an emulator on the PC.
