Witch Hunt - Review

This is a brief review for the Commodore 64 and Amstrad versions of this game. The former port of the Spectrum game cannot be completed as the coin which is supposed to be under the broom bush isn't. In the Amstrad version you cannot take the black cat; consequently it always crosses your path before you can reach the marquee and enter it. Hobbyists who release their bedroom doodlings with zero playtesting should be forced to sit through all episodes of Murder She Wrote while being forcefed Iceland frozen pizza.

Parser/Vocabulary (Rating: 6/10)

Jack's original deserves better than this. I am informed (ho,ho) the Spectrum version is fine.

Cruelty (Rating: Cruel)

In these versions obviously cruel.

Puzzles (Rating: 0/10)

Clever, aside from the bugged ones.

Overall (Rating: 1/10)

Unfinishable.
