As the name implies, this game is a science-fiction game. Like Alien Research centre 2, this is a tribute to the classic Alien Research Centre.
The game is made with PunyInform and I rarely noticed that I was playing a game with a library optimized for 8-bit machines.
The game is fairly easy and can be completed without maximum points. Thus I played it twice to get the last points. Recommended.
Unlike many games by John Wilson, the parser is pretty good. You are never in doubt if the game understands commands like LOOK BEHIND or LOOK UNDER 'object' and the game understands commands like GET ALL FROM BIN (fictive example).
The descriptions are not that verbose but still sufficient to create a good sci-fi atmosphere.
I am not sure if the game can become unwinnable, probably only if you ignore obvious puzzles.
There are only a few puzzles as the game is quite short, but they are fine enough.
A very short game but entertaining while it lasts.
