This BASIC-based system never received an official name, but it was used by both Trevor Toms himself and by his employer, Phipps Associates.
The system was originally published in the The ZX81 Pocket Book.
According to this interview with Sean Ellis, the Trevor Toms system was the primary inspiration for GAC.
