Synopsis

Follows the story of Alice in Wonderland quite closely.

Notes

The first game to use Magnetic Scroll's Magnetic Windows system, which featured automapping, animated graphics, and visual inventory - all of which could be moved around in separate windows. The system was re-used for a compilation of three of their earlier titles (The Guild of Thieves, Fish! and Corruption).

In 2021 an officially authorised version of the game was released for the Spectrum Next; see here.

Even Magnetic Scrolls didn't worry about a proof reader it seems:
"Examine front door key."
"The front door key is elegantyly (sic) carver (sic) with images of carrots and cabbages."

It's enough to make a Walrus cry.

"Goodness," said Alice. "There are lots and lots of keys here. So there must be lots and lots of doors too."
"Bound to be," sniffed the Knave of Hearts. "What good is a door without a key?"
Alice pondered this statement for a moment. "None at all," she consented. "Why, it would be like having a treacle tart without the treacle." "Quite so," said the Knave of Hearts. "I'm off to fetch one now. " With that, he vanished. Alice cast around surprisedly, but he was nowhere to be seen. "How curious," thought Alice and went back to counting her keys.
