The player must visit all rooms of a medieval castle, answering questions about specialist words used to name different parts and objects of the castle. In doing so, three pieces of a golden goblet must be found. In order to move between rooms, the player must answer the questions the game asks or risk being sent to the entrance again.
Notes
Despite the unusual mechanics and educational nature, it is a true text adventure, with a parser, objects, puzzles (apart from the vocabulary questions) and a final goal.
An unusual educational game in BASIC. Apart from the vocabulary questions, there's not a lot to do, and it's very straighforward. The interest of the game is more in exploring / mapping the castle, as the instructions say. The original code is bugged and runs out of memory near the end of the game, which prevents completion, so I have produced a fixed version that can be played (and explored) to the end.
