Notes
1. When crossing the river in the dinghy, if you drop it first you still arrive on the other side
but the dinghy doesn't and you need it later to return. You must be carrying it when you GO
DINGHY.
2. If you remain in the location when you light the dynamite you are both killed and "lucky
because no walls fall in around you as you are out of the danger area."
Walk Through
(Start in your shack), GET NOTE, READ NOTE, DROP NOTE, EXAMINE TABLE, GET MIRROR, EXAMINE MIRROR, W
(dense forest), EXAMINE FOLIAGE, GET MATCHES, EXAMINE MATCHES, EXAMINE TREE (see pegs in the trunk
making it climbable), CLIMB TREE (tree house), GET DINGHY, EXAMINE DINGHY, EXAMINE CUPBOARD, OPEN
CUPBOARD, GET PLANK, EXAMINE PLANK (of wood - two metres long), D, W (edge of forest), EXAMINE
BRANCHES (a boar trap), USE PLANK (you put it over the trap so you can pass safely).
W (river), EXAMINE RIVER, SWIM RIVER (piranha infested), S (gnome pond), EXAMINE GNOME (note he
doesn't have a fishing rod), S (chemical factory), EXAMINE MACHINE (see a red button), PUSH
BUTTON (you pollute the river and kill the fish), N, W, N (cave), EXAMINE BONES, GET CANDLE, EXAMINE
CANDLE, E, N (back to river), GO DINGHY (must be carrying it, see note 1 above - now safe as you
have killed the fish... you arrive on the northern side).
N (village green), EXAMINE GRASS, GET COIN (old), EXAMINE COIN (valuable), E (swim shop), EXAMINE
COUNTER (diving equipment for sale), BUY EQUIPMENT (using the coin), W, N, W (lagoon), EXAMINE
LAGOON (very deep), EXAMINE EQUIPMENT, SWIM (you put your suit on and dive under... you are swimming
under the surface of the water), E (underwater grotto), EXAMINE STONES, GET DIAMOND, EXAMINE WEEDS,
GET ROD (miniature fishing rod), W, U, DROP EQUIPMENT, E, S, S (river), GO DINGHY (to other side of
river), S (gnome pond), GIVE ROD (the gnome tells you the password to enter the castle), N, GO
DINGHY (across the river), DROP DINGHY, W, N, N (castle entrance), N (the drawbridge is closed),
EXAMINE MOAT, EXAMINE DRAWBRIDGE (need password), SAY VOLCAN (the drawbridge opens), N (inside
castle), LIGHT CANDLE (using the matches), D (dungeons), EXAMINE STRAW, GET CRYSTAL (ruby), EXAMINE
CRYSTAL, U, S.
S (windy path), EXAMINE FLOWERS (a blue poppy catches your eye), PICK POPPY, EXAMINE POPPY, W
(graveyard), EXAMINE GRAVE, W (church), EXAMINE ALTAR, READ BOOK (you attempt to read the sacred
book but there is a gust outside and you rush out... you are by the grave where you have woken the
typhoon from his sleep), SHOW MIRROR (he sees his reflection and is blown back into his grave - he
leaves something behind), DROP MIRROR, GET CROSS, EXAMINE CROSS (gold), W, W (mountains - an
ape-like creature is north of you), EXAMINE APE (note the blue patch), GIVE POPPY (he smells it and
runs off).
N (beach), N (edge of sea), EXAMINE RAFT (seaworthy and you see an island), GO BOAT (you sail to the
island - note you must be carrying the crystal, cross and diamond... the boat sinks as you reach the
shore), N (jungle), N (witches lair - she tells you she needs three magical objects and a green frog
for a spell to kill Volcan), S, W, N (maze of palm trees), W, N, W, GET LADDER (rope), E, S, E, S
(crashed plane), EXAMINE PLANE, GET MATTRESS, EXAMINE MATTRESS, E, D (the mattress cushions your
fall... you are in a dimly lit sewer), GET FROG, EXAMINE FROG, U (you lean the ladder against the
wall and climb up), N, N (witches' lair), GIVE FROG, GIVE DIAMOND, GIVE CRYSTAL, GIVE CROSS
(she puts them in the cauldron), GET DUST (gold).
S, S, EXAMINE HOLE (you can't see the bottom), D (sewer), S, LIGHT DYNAMITE (using the
matches), N (hear an explosion), S, S (Volcan's chamber - the door slides shut behind you and
Volcan is throwing fireballs at you), THROW DUST (gold - he explodes in a ball of flame).
CONGRATULATIONS your quest's over.
