Scenario
The aim of the game is to climb from the depths of a country town to become the ace programmer of a
software company in Sydney.
Walk Through
(Start in a small house), N (dining room - leave the C64 as you have bigger ideas!), S, W (kitchen),
GET BATTERY, EXAMINE BATTERY (heavy duty), S (garden - a spade is here but as you can't dig so
leave it), N, E, E (front garden), GET MAIL (junk), EXAMINE MAIL, DROP MAIL, E (bridge), GET METAL
(rusty), EXAMINE METAL (remains of a bicycle and of no use), DROP METAL, E (park), SW, S, SW (school
playground), S (school hall), GET BELL, EXAMINE BELL (light), INSERT BATTERY, RING BELL (the
children and teachers leave the classrooms), DROP WORKING (bell), N, E (large classroom), GET COAT,
EXAMINE COAT (you find a bus ticket in one of the pockets), EXAMINE TICKET (will get you to the
centre of town), DROP COAT.
W, NE, N, W, W, SE (to a highway), N, N (bus stop), EXAMINE BUS, BOARD BUS (takes you to the centre
of town), DROP TICKET, W, SE (newsagency), BUY REVIEW (the assistant informs you that you were
overcharged and gives you a $5 note), DROP REVIEW, NW, N, N (computer department in store), BUY
TORCH (with the $5), EXAMINE TORCH, S, S, D (carpark), GET BICYCLE, EXAMINE BICYCLE, S (outside
shopping centre), DROP TORCH, E (must have bike), E (computer shop), GET CARD (credit), EXAMINE CARD
(American Express), BUY AMIGA (using the card), USE AMIGA (the printer emits a piece of paper), GET
PAPER, EXAMINE PAPER (an opinion poll), W, S (doctor's waiting room - you can make an
appointment here if you wish but there is no need), N, W, DROP BICYCLE, S, W, BUY SUIT (with the
card), EXAMINE SUIT, DROP CARD, E, E (restaurant), TALK MAN (who is sitting at the table - he asks
where the secret opinion poll he asked you to do is), GIVE PAPER (he takes it and leaves... you
notice a train pass on the table), GET PASS.
W, N, GET BICYCLE, E, N (train station), DROP BICYCLE, BOARD TRAIN (takes you to Sydney), DROP PASS,
S, S (book shop), GET BOOK (old), EXAMINE BOOK (valuable), N, W (small shop), SELL BOOK (you receive
a gown in exchange), SW (great hall of university - you enter just in time to receive your degree),
NE, E, E, S (to the offices of a large computer company... an official from the software company
runs out of an office and says "You are jut the sort of programmer we need to work on our next
game").
