Scenario
The land of Mid-World has been invaded by the forces of darkness and is rules in fear by the evil
wizard king Elfric. The secret of Mid-World-s freedom lies in the magic goblet, which has the power
to banish all evil. Your quest is twofold, the kill Elfric and to retrieve the goblet.
Walk Through
(Start in a magical place with pillars of stone), S (dark woods), S, S (grassy plain), W (cold place
where you meet a repulsive dwarf warrior who you should leave alone or he kills you), W, TAKE BOW,
E, E, N, E, E, E, E (dreamy place), SLEEP (you can now go east), E (sandlands), N, E, N (hot place
with pyramids all around), N (valley of death where you meet the sand dragon Rhameses - ignore his
warning), N, E, TAKE ARROWS, EXAMINE ARROWS (made of gold), S, N, N, W, W (back to dreamy place),
SLEEP (you can now go west), W, W, W, W, N, N (back to magical place).
E, E (warm path), N, N, N (gateway to Dragon's Gateway), N (meet Golden Dragon Tiamat), SHOOT
TIAMAT (using the bow and arrow - he is dead), DROP BOW, DROP ARROWS, TAKE SWORD, EXAMINE SWORD (you
feel its power), S, S, S (you meet a hideous old woman), EXAMINE WOMAN (ignore her), S, W, W, W
(abstract place), W, N (by huge stony wall), CLIMB WALL, E, N, N (castle gateway), E (large room
with a yellow door - note don't go east or a large bald man will strangle you), N (throne room
where you meet the evil wizard king Elfric), KILL ELFRIC (using the sword - now dead and you have
accomplished your first task).
S, W, S, S, W (back to wall), CLIMB WALL, S, E, S, S, S, E (to where the sand has recently been
disturbed), DIG (find a key), TAKE KEY, W, N, N, N, W, N, CLIMB WALL, E, S, E, E (smelly dungeon),
UNLOCK BOX, OPEN BOX, DROP KEY, TAKE GOBLET, W, W, N, W, CLIMB WALL, S, E (magical place with
pillars of stone), DROP GOBLET...
The Druid appears with the people of Mid-World
