1.                                Introduction

===============================================================================

King is a very short interactive fiction adventure published by Psychadelic
Hedgehog Software in 1991. The aim is to retrieve a magic book and find a spell
which can be used to escape from the tomb. The game can be completed in as few
as eighteen moves. There are some detailed descriptions, but the game seems to
end much too soon at a point when it really seems the adventure should begin.
