RINGS FOR BONY FINGERS

Walk Through
(Start in a silk lined coffin which is being lowered into a grave... the only way to escape your
nightmare is to place the ten rings of Zoltan on the fingers of his headless skeleton), PUSH LID (it
doesn't budge but the bottom gives a little), PUSH BOTTOM (it gives way), N (into one end of a
small cave), U (hilltop overlooking a graveyard), E, S (southwestern corner of graveyard), GET
SPIKE, EXAMINE SPIKE, E, N, N, N (outside crypt), OPEN DOOR (it won't budge), PRY DOOR WITH
SPIKE, DROP SPIKE, N (inside crypt), D (burial vault), EXAMINE NORTH WALL (see hand prints), PUSH
WALL (it moves aside), N (into a low room), GET TORCH, EXAMINE TORCH, GET JADE (ring), EXAMINE JADE
(ring), WEAR JADE (ring), S, U, S (outside crypt).

S, S, W, W, D, S (cave), U (back inside coffin where you see writing on the silk lining now that you
have the torch), READ WRITING (reads "May the ghost of Ator watch your corpse rot"... the
torch ignites the silk), D (the fire in the coffin above goes out), U (you see a small bronze key
that was behind the silk), GET BRONZE (key), D (cave), DIG (you discover a diamond ring), GET
DIAMOND, EXAMINE DIAMOND, WEAR DIAMOND, DIG (you clear a wide opening in the rockslide), S (into a
rock cave - leave the fedora, a red herring), GET ROPE, EXAMINE ROPE, GET BOX (jewellery), EXAMINE
BOX, N, N, U (hilltop where you meet a menacing ghostly object), EXAMINE GHOST, SAY ATOR (it drops a
sapphire ring on the ground), GET SAPPHIRE (ring), EXAMINE SAPPHIRE, WEAR SAPPHIRE.

E, S, E (south east corner of graveyard), EXAMINE VASE, GET TOPAZ (ring), WEAR TOPAZ, N, N, N, GET
SPIKE (left here earlier), N, D (burial vault), DROP BOX (for later), N (low room), TIE ROPE TO
HOOK, S, EXAMINE COFFIN ("Do not disturb the rest of Zoltan" is carved into the stone
lid), PRY LID WITH SPIKE (the skeleton of Zoltan chases you), N (low room), PULL HOOK (the floor
drops out from under your feet leaving you are hanging onto the hook... the skeleton follows you and
falls into the pit), D (the rope to the bottom of the pit), GET SKULL (it whispers something),
LISTEN (the skull says "Carry me and I'll help you"),  U (rope - now hanging on
hook), PUT TORCH IN BRACKET (floor moves back across the pit), GET TORCH (needed as light source and
protection from predators), S, DROP SPIKE (no longer needed).

ENTER COFFIN (steps will appear if you are wearing the sapphire ring), GET GARNET (ring), EXAMINE
GARNET, WEAR GARNET, D, GET PEARL (ring), WEAR PEARL, LISTEN (to skull which says that the diamond
ring will protect from snakes), S (safe if wearing the diamond ring), GET EMERALD (ring), WEAR
EMERALD, LISTEN (to skull which says to put it on the floor by the marble door), PUT SKULL ON FLOOR
(marble door opens), CRAWL SOUTH (to avoid the giant knife - you are in the deepest catacombs of the
crypt), GET OPAL (ring), WEAR OPAL (a spider crawls onto your leg - it is poisonous), KILL  SPIDER
(before it bites you), UNLOCK STRONGBOX (using bronze key - it contains a turquoise ring and a small
silver key), GET SILVER (key - a spider drops from the ceiling onto your neck), KILL SPIDER, N, N,
U.

S (burial vault), UNLOCK BOX (using silver key - it contains a ruby ring), GET RUBY, WEAR RUBY, DROP
BONZE (key), DROP SILVER (key), INVENTORY (should be carrying torch and ten rings), N (into low
room), PULL HOOK (to open pit), D, DROP DIAMOND (ring - it goes onto a finger of the skeleton), DROP
RUBY (ring), DROP SAPPHIRE (ring), DROP TOPAZ (ring), DROP JADE (ring), DROP GARNET (ring), DROP
PEARL (ring), DROP EMERALD (ring), DROP OPAL (ring), DROP TURQUOISE (ring).
