you find a needle, TAKE NEEDLE, EXAMINE HAY, TAKE HAY, S, FEED COW, TAKE
COIN, S, W, W, TAKE BASKET, D, EXAMINE DOWN, TAKE FLUFF, EXAMINE FLUFF, TAKE
RUBY, DROP FLUFF, U, S, EXAMINE RUNES, TAKE RUNES, N, E, E, E, S, GIVE RUNES
(soothsayer gives you a hint and a key), N, W, W, W, W, TICKLE ANUBIS (You
find yourself with Thoth who gives you scissors, tells you to bring him a
gift, and deposits you in the funeral room. Type HELP to find out what the
gift is. TAKE FOOD, EXAMINE FOOD, E, TAKE PIPE, EXAMINE PIPE, W, N, N, E, E,
E, S, EXAMINE BOX, UNLOCK BOX, (you see a bracelet). Go N, W, W, W, N,
EXAMINE SKELETON, EXAMINE CASE, TAKE NECKLACE, N, S, N (until you see a
concubine). GIVE RUBY, she gives you perfume, EXAMINE HANGINGS (the blue and
yellow colours give you hints about how to proceed through the garden). Go
E, (here you see a pool of fluid), EXAMINE POOL, N, E, N, E, EXAMINE GARDEN,
EXAMINE MULBERRY, TAKE THREAD, THREAD NEEDLE, S, W, S, W, GIVE COIN (you get
kohl).
When you have the bracelet, necklace, perfume, and kohl, return to the
female mummy. Go S, S, E, E, E, E, E, S. She takes your stuff and tells you
a joke. Go N, W, W, W, S, PLAY PIPE, CATCH SNAKE, TAKE CHARM, DROP BASKET,
DROP PIPE, N, W, W, S, TELL JOKE, TAKE FLY. Return to the spider, by going
N, E, E, E, E, N, GIVE FLY, TAKE JUG. Go S, W, W, N, EXAMINE CASE, OPEN
CASE. You are inside the case with a mummy. TAKE SHROUD, TAKE TOKEN, (note
it is bronze) RUB TOKEN, EXAMINE TOKEN (it has turned to gold) INSERT TOKEN,
and you are out. CUT SHROUD (you make bandages). Return to the pool by going
W, W, N, N, E, FILL JUG. When you have the fluid, food, charm and bandages,
return to the male mummy, by going W, S, S, E, E, E, E, E, N. He takes your
stuff and leaves a gold cloth. TAKE CLOTH, EXAMINE CLOTH, CUT CLOTH, SEW
CLOTH and you have Thoth's gift. Go S, W, W, W, W, W, TICKLE ANUBIS to get
inside and you are finished.
