Your objective is to get out of the pub before closing time or the barman will throw you onto the
street to face your fear of Morris dancing. There are two solutions, so they are given separately.
These are minimal solutions. You'll need to EXAMINE lots of things for these solutions to make
sense. Some optional (but significant) moves are shown in parentheses. You can omit these once you
know what to do.
Solution 1: Via the telephone wire

X CUSTOMER (he places his blindfold on the bar)
GET BLINDFOLD
X BOOTH (you see some earplugs)
(GET EARPLUGS) (DJ says to get your own, you'll have to distract him)
ASK DJ ABOUT MUSIC (he turns it up, now it's too loud & customer is irritated)
ASK CUSTOMER ABOUT MUSIC (he can't hear you, complains to barman who calls DJ)
GET EARPLUGS

(X WINDOW) (there's a telephone line outside leading to freedom)
(OPEN WINDOW) (you'd be able to see and hear Morrismen)
GET TOWEL
WEAR EARPLUGS (now you can't hear them)
WEAR BLINDFOLD (now you can't see them)

Solution 2: Via the car park

X WINDOW (Morrisman leaves handkerchief on window sill)
GET HANDKERCHIEF
X BACK DOOR (staff are trying to manoeuvre a cake through the doorframe)
X CAKE (it's got a metal tray)
(X TRAY) (it's too wide for doorframe, need to view it from another angle)
LOOK UNDER TRAY (staff would have to angle it slightly)
ASK STAFF ABOUT TRAY (they tilt it & get it through door, so you can now go W)

(N) (can't leave while rogue Morrisman is there)
(GIVE HANDKERCHIEF TO MORRISMAN) you're scared to go near him)
GIVE HANDKERCHIEF TO ACCORDIONIST (he gives it to Morrisman, you can now go N)
