GOLDEN PYRAMID

This is a challenging game, made a bit tedious with several place you have to revisit, 
and with numerous things you need to do in a particular order or use a particular verb, 
otherwise you cannot finish.  Help is only provided in one place. 

You begin in a tree, tangled up in a parachute. INVENTORY (you have a hat and a 
knife), EXAMINE BIRD, EXAMINE TREE, EXAMINE NEST (you see an egg), GET EGG (you 
can't), WAIT (the bird flies off), GET EGG, EXAMINE EGG, REMOVE PARACHUTE, GET 
HOOK, EXAMINE HOOK, W, SEARCH BUSHES (you see a monkey), EXAMINE MONKEY, GET 
MONKEY, E, E (you are at a trip-wire), DROP MONKEY (he gets tied up in a net), E, E, 
EXAMINE METAL (there is a trap there), W, W, W, S, DOWN (you see a python), ROLL 
EGG (the python chokes), GET PYTHON, UP, N, SKIN PYTHON, S, DROP PYTHON, N, GET 
SKIN, EXAMINE SKIN, TWIST SKIN, TIE SKIN, S, DOWN (you are at the northern side of the 
pit), THROW HOOK, UP SKIN (you are now at the southern side of the pit, S, W, SAY CHIEF 
(you are asked to get an elixir, and are given a feather and told to not give it up too 
soon. Remember his name.), W (at the Witch-Doctor).

About this time when you are getting thirsty. When that happens go south from the 
village to the lake and FILL HAT and DRINK WATER and WEAR HAT. Return to where you 
were.

SAY WITCH (you are asked for a feather – don't give it yet), NW, EXAMINE CAULDRON 
(you see flesh cooking), TAKE FLESH (too hot), SE, E, S, REMOVE HAT, FILL HAT, N, W, NW, 
THROW WATER (you extinguish the flames), TAKE FLESH.

Go SE, E, E, N, DOWN SKIN, PULL SKIN, GET HOOK, UP, N, E, E, E, THROW FLESH, N, UP, E, S 
(you are at the pyramid – ignore the key), N, E, EXAMINE DOOR (you see a ledge), 
EXAMINE LEDGE (you see a depression with a carving of a bird), PUT FEATHER (the door 
opens), REMOVE FEATHER, W, W, DOWN, S, W, W, W, S, DOWN, THROW HOOK, UP SKIN, 
S, W, W, GIVE FEATHER, SW, GET TORCH, SEARCH HUT, GET FRUIT (there may come a time 
in the game when you are told you need a snack and then EAT FRUIT though this will 
not happen if you do not waste any time), NE (you see lightning striking the clearing – 
the fire has been re-lit), NW, LIGHT TORCH, SE, E, E, N, DOWN SKIN, PULL SKIN, GET HOOK, 
UP, N, E, E, E, N, UP, E, E (at the Pyramid again).

ENTER PYRAMID (the door closes behind you), EXAMINE PANEL, EXAMINE DUCT, SHAKE 
DUCT, DOWN [you see coals to the west and quicksand to the east. This is the only 
place where help is available. Type HELP EAST (need navigation aids) and HELP WEST 
(cool it)], S, E, E, E, N, EXAMINE BUNK, LIFT BUNK, EXAMINE SKELETON (you see a talisman), 
EXAMINE TALISMAN (you see an elephant's hair in it), GET TALISMAN, WEAR TALISMAN, S, 
S, EXAMINE GRANITE (there is a gap but you cannot lift the granite), S, SAIL RAFT, GET 
URN, EXAMINE URN, FILL URN, WAIT (a tribesman comes), SAY MAN (you are offered an 
exchange for your knife), GIVE KNIFE, INVENTORY (you see a lodestone), EXAMINE 
STONE, SAIL RAFT, DISMANTLE RAFT (the rope floats away – don't panic), GET LOGS 
(dropping other things in the process), N, INSERT LOGS, MOVE GRANITE (it falls over the 
spikes), E, E, EXAMINE CRATE (you see a boulder hanging over it), BURN ROPE, W (you 
hear a crash), E, EXAMINE CRATE, GET MAP, READ MAP (you see a route), W, W, S, GET 
HOOK, GET HAT, WEAR HAT, GET TALISMAN, GET STONE, N, N, W, W, W, N, UP REMOVE 
HAIR, DROP TALISMAN, TAKE HAIR, TIE HAIR (you create a makeshift compass), DOWN, E 
(You are on the quicksand, but have what you need – map and compass).

Go E, UP (you see a rope), W (you can't – the iron panel is down), THROW HOOK, UP 
SKIN (you are about to enter a maze), E, N, NW (you are in the ante-room), UP, TURN 
WHEEL (something trembles – the iron panel is now open), DOWN, SE, SE, SW, W, DOWN 
SKIN, GET ROPE, W, UNTIE HAIR, DROP ROPE, GET HAIR, GET TALISMAN, THREAD 
TALISMAN, WEAR TALISMAN, GET ROPE, DOWN, S (you no longer have to go through the 
quicksand, hence you don't need the map any more), E, E, E, S, GET LOGS, S, DROP 
LOGS, N, GET HAT, WEAR HAT, GET TALISMAN, WEAR TALISMAN, GET ROPE, GET STONE, S, 
MAKE RAFT, SAIL RAFT (you are now on the far shore), WAIT (the tribesman returns), GIVE 
STONE (you get a gold token), INVENTORY, EXAMINE TOKEN, SAIL RAFT (you are back), 
TAKE URN, N, N, W, W, W, N, THROW WATER, W, W, EXAMINE BOX (you see a slot), INSERT 
TOKEN (the box opens), EXAMINE BOX, GET CHALICE, EXAMINE CHALICE, THROW 
WATER, E, E, UP, E, UP SKIN, E, N, NW, UP, FILL CHALICE (the talisman disappears), DOWN 
(you are asked to say who the chalice is for), GOPO XHIR, DOWN, SE, SE, NE (you are at 
a lever), PULL LEVER (you hear a rumble, it is the door at the entrance to the pyramid 
opening), SW, SW, W, DOWN SKIN, PULL SKIN, GET HOOK, W, N, W, W, DOWN, S, W, W, W, 
S, DOWN, THROW HOOK, UP SKIN, S, W, GIVE CHALICE. You are finished.
