A quicker way to obtain the Martian is to go immediately west on starting the game into the dark cave and then type "say hello". This avoids the need to get the syringe, lamp, ladders and key. Although if done that way, then do not drop the Martian until you have reached the city as he will still be flagged as chained. When chained, he cannot be picked up again unless unlocked, which can only be done in the cave. Although the verbs SEARCH and EXAMINE are understood by the game they apparently just generate a stock response, instead HELP is far more useful. Lots of red herrings or at least objects present that are just not needed to complete the game including MAGNET, BATTERY, CHAIN, ROCK, MEAT CLEVER (sic), FOOTBALL, TUBE, CUBE, PRINTER LIST, POWER CABLE & ROD. There is one stainless steel door with a slot next to it in the Martian base which I have never worked out how to open - it is not needed to complete the game. The static description for this room includes the text "the door is closed" so not sure if it actually can be opened. The game intro states that there are 113 locations, although I only managed to find 108 of them. Author and release date unknown at the time of writing. benkid77 - 20/04/2019
