Mazemapper By Bob Reeves For Alan 2.8 interpreters Solution by Garry Francis ---------------------------------------- This is a minimal solution. You must find your way to the end of the maze, then find your way back again. Scores are shown in brackets as +A=B, where A is points earned and B is cumulative points earned. There are two types of rooms in the maze, rooms with holes and rooms without holes. You can SEARCH GRASS to see if the room has a hole. If you drop an object in a room with a hole, the object falls into the hole, never to be seen again. However, you can PUT OBJECT IN GRASS to prevent it falling into the hole. For rooms without holes, you can just DROP OBJECT. In either case, the object disappears into the grass and can't be seen in room descriptions. You can SEARCH GRASS to see if there's any objects in the room. You must do this before you can GET OBJECT. Alternatively, you can FIND OBJECT to see whether a specific object is in the room. If it is, it is automatically added to your inventory. In case you're wondering about the wind, it gives you the return directions from the end of the maze. Take note of the directions from the start of the game. (They repeat after the wind becomes still.) However, you don't need this if you've mapped the maze and you can save two moves at the end by following your map instead of the wind's directions. So, here goes...
