Jester's Jaunt (Jesters_Jaunt.txt)

JESTER'S JAUNT
June Rowe, P. Cardin
Zenobi
Spectrum 48

This is a delightful, whimsical game, with minimal violence, logically derived
puzzle, very few "find the verb" problems, and a clear goal. You are not
allowed to go certain places unless you have all the necessary objects, so
rarely do you have to replay the game again from the beginning. There are also
bits of wry humour thrown in. Objects no longer necessary are taken away by
your brothers. All in all a good game without many of the frustrations often
found when writers try to be too tricky and clever. A few red herrings are
thrown in, but since you can carry many objects, particularly after you find
the basket, this is not a problem. However, some objects need to be actually
carried, not just in the basket, to enter certain locations. There are some
delightful hints given in some messages.

You are Early, one of seven brothers. Your goal is to rescue the Princess'
beloved, Prince Yandor who has been kidnapped by Vilana. You are told that you
must say goodbye to the Princess and your brothers before you leave.

horse which only he can ride, and when you find the prince "call Beauty" and
he will appear. She also gives you her pony). EXAMINE PILL (looks like
