IMPACT
Laurence Creighton
Zenobi Software
Spectrum 48

Like all of Creighton's games, this one is complex, with a little
deviancy thrown in. While HELP is available in certain locations, you
need to be carrying a specific object in order to get it. There is a
limit to the number of objects you can carry so you frequently need to
re-visit a previous location. There is a specific order to perform
certain actions.

LOOK, LOOK UNDER, LOOK BEHIND are all different. This is necessary in
several locations. Several objects are needed more than once (pliers,
matches, compass, spade, dagger).

Dropping things tends to break them; PUT <object> instead.

When you are in the house, make sure you are not caught with certain
objects you are taking (i.e. trousers, lamp, jar).

There are a few red herrings (egg, icy pool).

An asteroid is about to hit London. You goal is to find the repelling
beam machine and deflect the asteroid.
