Hmm. You are in the attic. There is a knapsack here. Take knapsack. OK. Open knapsack. You can't see a knapsack. Wear knapsack. You can't see a knapsack. It doesn't bode well.

It gets better I can assure you. One of my favourites for the beeb. Oxbridge is even better.

Perhaps I'll give it a stay of execution then. I presume the knapsack is there to augment my inventory limit but it's not much use if I can't refer to it.

Resuming, this is an odd game. Some locations have graphics but no accompanying text descriptions so you appear to have to guess from the blocky graphics what is in one of these locations, together with any items or important scenery. I can find no option to toggle this and no onlinr manual to use.

This a very sloppy game; for instance UP must be typed in full but DOWN can only be entered as D. The parser is very thin gruel indeed, accepting very few verbs. The rose garden maze is tiresome and deliberately annoying. I really wouldn't bother.

Hmm, I could have sworn I enjoyed this game. Maybe it was Oxbridge (I did the solution for that one) because I have a thing about teletext graphics.
