New Adventure: ESCAPE FROM THE DEEP (released)

#1 Post by Dethmunk » Wed Jan 04, 2023 8:36 pm

Hey fellow adventurenaughts. I released a game late last year. First one in a while. It's Browser based (HTML 5). Created with Adventuron (c)2017 Chris Ainsley
It's a mystery/escape adventure with elements of horror. It's not massive, but I hope fun to play.
Check it out here.... https://dethmunk.itch.io/escape-from-the-deep

You take on the role of an investigator sent with a small team by the authorities to a large and rather secretive underwater base. Reports of strange incidents and behaviors have surfaced. Listed as a 'mining' facility, it turns out to be far more than that. Shortly after you arrive you and your team are caught in a sudden barrage of what seem to be explosions that rock the facility. You are knocked unconscious. What follows you cannot tell, you only know when you wake up that, you're alone, locked in the medical bay with the corpse of a slaughtered nurse. Your mission is to get out, get to the surface with as much evidence as you can find to back up your findings.

It features cartoon/comic-book style 16bit graphics for every location and two different endings. Also if you're holding an object and examine it, you'll get a little graphic too.
Enjoy. :D

Thanks. Will check it out. Looks good.
TAB is an offline, downloadable, parser-based retro text adventure/interactive creator for Windows XP and above.
It is similar to popular 80's adventure creators like QUILL, PAW, STAC or GAC.

Looks great! I made a listing for your game on IFDB with a link to itch.io. However, it would be great with a picture to gain more attention there. Can I take any picture from the game / itch.io or would you prefer a specific one / none?
