Zodiac (Adventure) - A&F Software

#1 Post by Strident » Tue Jan 04, 2022 6:03 pm

Jason Dyer recently covered the A&F Atom & Oric game Zodiac adventure for his "All the Adventures" project...
https://bluerenga.blog/tag/zodiac/?order=ASC

This led to Voltgloss solving and submitting a solution for it...
https://solutionarchive.com/game/id%2C1945/Zodiac.html

However, I've noticed that the Oric version is no longer archived at...
https://www.oric.org/software/zodiac-551.html

The RapidShare link that is on that page no longer works (as the service has closed down).

Did anyone grab the file at any point? Does anyone still have their copy so we can try and ensure it's preserved?

I think, looking at our entry, that Garry took the Oric screenshot.

Yes, I've got it. I've submitted it to oric.org. It may take a while to get it updated. I'll let you know when it's available. If you can't wait, send me a PM and I'll send it to you.

Excellent news, thanks. Just checked orig.org too and as they've just added a screenshot I guess your file will be added soon.

Edit: in fact the file is up there too.

I actually have admin rights, but I couldn't update that one because the root path hadn't been set. This typically happens when two games have the same name. I've now added the cover and the Your Computer advert as well.

If you find any other Oric games that are missing, let me know and I'll add them if I've got them. I know that there's a few type-ins that I need to add.
