There are at least two adventure authoring languages abbreviated to ADL. CASA shows these as ADL and ADL [1]. The entry for ADL is incorrect. It gives the book title as Adventure Design Language (1986) by A. F. de Geus, J. H. Jongejan and A. M. Koelmans. This should be Adventure Description Language.
I have the book in front of me. There is no date given on the verso title page, but the preface is dated January 1985 and the latest date given in any of the program listings is 1985, so I think the publication date should be 1985, not 1986. I'm pretty sure that I bought it in 1985, but I certainly couldn't swear to that. Most web sites don't give a publication date. Google gives the publication date as 1985. An ISBN search gives it as January 1986, but I think that's a typo from the January 1985 date in the preface that has been propagated elsewhere, e.g. Amazon USA gives it as 1 January 1986.
Also, the fuller names of the authors (only if you want this) is 'A. Fred de Geus, Jan H. Jongejan and Albert M. Koelmans'. This information may be helpful for anyone trying to track down the authors or any other games written by the same authors.
For anyone that wants to do further research, the book was published by Sigma Press, ISBN 1850580111. A pdf is available from somewhere.

Thanks. Information added/corrected.
Re: Description of ADL is wrong
Garry, do you have the unmodified version of the game (Hexagon Computer Centre) for inclusion to the archive? Thanks.

Yes. I'll send it to you in a day or two.
