Searching CASA

#1 Post by Hopalong » Thu Aug 06, 2020 9:03 pm

Could I ask for some advice, again?
Is there a way to search the CASA database for any adventures that don't have solutions for them?
I was thinking I could perhaps do 'my bit' for 'CASA' by trying to solve them myself or look for solutions for them.
I'm just blown away by the help you've given me so far.

DOH! Sorry guys. Answered my own question.
Of course, there is an advanced search option that lets me look for titles without solutions.. and there are many!
Teach me to look before questioning, lol

Even if there are walkthroughs for a given game, there is the possibility they don't cover all versions. It seems incredible, but after 36 years there was still no accurate walkthrough of the well-known "Twin Kingdom Valley" adventure which allowed for completion of the ZX Spectrum version, because of some minor differences introduced in it. I had to write my own as a result!

There is still plenty of work to do if you want to help - it will not be difficult to find. Good hunting.

I wonder if we could add two more check boxes to the advanced search. One for "Show only games without maps" and one for "Show only games without screen grabs".
