Re: Arctic Adventure
Oh, man. I've been meaning to add screen grabs, maps and solutions for all those games for some years. Unfortunately, that evil thing called 'time' is always against me. Too many things to do and not enough time to do it.

Adventuron Christmas Jam
I wasn't sure whether to put this under classic or modern, because it relates to classic style adventures, but written with a modern system.
Anyway, the Adventuron Christmas Jam is underway. This is the 5th in the series of Adventuron game jams and this time around your objective is to make a ...

If it's for a particular game, navigate to that game and click Upload file to submit a file with the article or Write review and fill in the form to write a review. In all cases, you need to log on first.

Re: Error in solution - The Eunuch's Ball
Currently I've got about 10 sheets of scribbles of an Inform 7 game that I want to write. But I will have to actually make myself do it. Hey ho.
There's nothing to say that you have to use Inform 7. There are plenty of alternatives out there. Inform 7 is not for everyone. If you struggle with ...

Re: Port of Tizpan, Lord of the Jungle in zQuill
The first thing I tried was REMOVE LOINCLOTH, which it did, then it said "I can't." Did it do this in the original? If not, there may be issues with the conversion process.
Otherwise,it looks good.

Re: Tim Hartnell and Clive Gifford's Mysterious Adventures
I got side-tracked on some other new discoveries, but eventually got back to 'Golden Nugget'. It turned out to be a real dog. I was really stumped at one point until I realised there was a bug in the listing that made it impossible to finish the game. Specifically, when I tried to DIG DIRT in the ...

Re: Tim Hartnell and Clive Gifford's Mysterious Adventures
In the meantime, I've submitted an entry to CASA for The Explorer, together with screen grabs, map and solution. I'll do the same for Golden Nugget in due course.

Re: Tim Hartnell and Clive Gifford's Mysterious Adventures
Hmmm, it doesn't look like I can add an attachment to a personal message. Here's a zip file for The Explorer. I'll add one for Golden Nugget after I've tested it. It might take a day or two.

Re: Tim Hartnell and Clive Gifford's Mysterious Adventures
I typed in both of those last night. Do you want me to send you the source?
I've just finished playing The Explorer. This is a tiny little game, but it's a real bug fest. For example, you can CHOP TREE or CHOP LOG multiple times and the log keeps reappearing, even if you're carrying it. GO ...

Re: Tim Hartnell and Clive Gifford's Mysterious Adventures
Thanks for finding this book. On a quick skim, only the first (The Explorer) and last (Golden Nugget) look like adventures. The others are RPG or CYOA.
