Re: SC-3000 Rabbit Hole... Unlisted Adventures
Woohoo! I've worked out how to enable the SC-3000 keyboard in MAME and now I've got the Megacart working.

Re: SC-3000 Rabbit Hole... Unlisted Adventures
Good idea. I'll try that, too. (The Facebook thing, I mean.) A little while back, I found some obscure adventures for the Spectravideo on a Spectravideo Facebook group.

Re: SC-3000 Rabbit Hole... Unlisted Adventures
I have spent all day wading through the SC-3000 web sites listed above and have come up with a pretty solid list of SC-3000 adventures. Now all I have to do is find them and find a way to play them. It's not so easy...

Re: SC-3000 Rabbit Hole... Unlisted Adventures
I just checked and the blueMSX emulator has an option for the Sega SC-3000. That's one less thing to worry about.

Great work strident and auraes!
Any chance of adding links to archive sites where you can download these games and an emulator for the SC-3000?

Re: Not finding rom TRS32 emulator Windows 10
The vast majority of adventures were written for the earlier machines, but there are a few that only run with the model 3 or 4.

Re: Steven C. Darnold
The third in the Peter Gerrard series is 'Underground Adventure'. I thought 'Valleymaze' may have been based on that, but the walkthroughs are quite different. It may be that 'Valleymaze' and 'POW Adventure' are both originals. I think you have to assume that's the case until proven otherwise.

Anything C64 related makes my head hurt, too. This one is particularly bad. They can't even get the original author's name right and they all copy off one another, rather than referring to the original source.

Re: Not finding rom TRS32 emulator Windows 10
I have the following:
LEVEL1.ROM
LEVEL2.ROM
MODEL1.ROM
MODEL3.ROM
MODEL4.ROM
If you have all of those in your ROM path, I think you're covered for all models.

Re: Colditz Adventures... English and Dutch
Is your Atari 800 version archived online anywhere, Garry?
No. I did this many years ago (along with many other games) and I can no longer read the disks. I have a BASIC listing of the TRS-80 version, but I don't remember if I typed it in myself or got it from one of the downloads. When I get ...

Re: Colditz Adventures... English and Dutch
This was originally published in Computer & Video Games , issue 11, vol. 1, no. 11, September 1982, pp. 36-39. Apart from some random factors and the need to attend appel fairly frequently, it's actually a very good game. I ported it to the Atari 800 many, many years ago and don't recall any issues ...
Re: Senobyzal
If it's a traditional parser-based text adventure, I'd love to test it, but I won't have any time until mid-July, if that's okay.

Re: R. D. Foord... type-in mystery
I need a little help here. I found a tool that allows me to convert a BASIC program from an ASCII text file to a ZX-81 *.p cassette image file and I can play it in a ZX-81 emulator. However, the original listing had some special characters and I can't for the life of me work out what they mean or ...

Re: R. D. Foord... type-in mystery
Who knows. I wasn't aware of a download for the ZX-81 game, so I typed it in yesterday. Now I have to work out how to get it from a text file to a ZX-81 tape file. I should have thought of that before I started.
