Re: Cornucopia

Yes, I can solve the game :D

But not with all the treasures. I still don't understand how to enter the underground area without using the gold card or the dispel illusion spell. If you want to leave the treasures in your cottage you have to repeat this a few times, but when I use the elevator up I ...

Re: Cornucopia

I managed to enter the magic room from the wedge room. The only room I did not manage to reach form the wedge room now is the guard room, but it is empty and not very important I guess.

You can also use the levitation spell to enter the tower room from the Fungus Forest, but then you can't take the ...

Re: Cornucopia

Problem needed to be solved to finish the game with maximum score:
-How to enter the underground area without using the golden card or the dispel illusion spell? For now I only can enter it once, but when I use the elevator going up I don’t know how to return again to the below area.

At the moment ...

Thanks. I did not know about the f-keys.

Alex wrote: Sun Nov 28, 2021 4:10 pm The wooded area with the pixie is one I still can not reach. It seems there has to be some other way to get there.
Actually I do know how to reach the wooded area it's already indicated on my map :)

I've changed my map a bit and uploaded it.

Re: Cornucopia

This may be coincidental, but there is a pattern in the numbers. If 101 is thought of as a binary number, where 1 means use and 0 means don't use, and that is applied to the second and third number, then the remaining digits are the fourth number. If this conjecture is true, then the game may set ...

Re: Cornucopia

No unfortunately that
Do you think the transport system that you have discovered will enable you to avoid losing the two treasures you hitherto mentioned or not?

Unfortunately not. I'm pretty sure that it is a bug. But with the fix I made at least it will be possible to finish it with all objects ...

Re: Cornucopia

Ignore the old one, I have a better version now because I decided to download and use a proper hex editor. This has several advantages over my old method, not least I can automate a large part of the process and I no longer need to play the game (or see screen shots of the game) to work out the ...

Re: Cornucopia

Perhaps any as yet undiscovered teleportal method will enable you to retrieve the treasures in question. Thank goodness none of the bugs you have encountered as yet make the game unwinnable.

I like to think your efforts are the text adventuring equivalent of 'flu research. They are certainly ...

Re: Cornucopia

Luckily until now the bugs don't seem fatal. The one I encountered (apart from the SMASH and BREAK things) prevents you from reaching two treasures which don't seem to be needed for anything else then taking them to the cottage. Therefore as I stated earlier. As soon as I learn how to travel to the ...
