Seems to me with the descriptions of the thongs and the belt and the corresponding hints, you should be able to make a slingshot, but I haven't figured out how to do that.
Also is the arrows are too noisy, would a feather help here? Have you seen a bird? If my idea of a slingshot works, that could ...
