So, comma (,) and period (.) move left and right?

Yes, there is a Load Snapshot feature, though for some reason it didn't work.

I guess what they say is true "use it or lose it". I have to play non-spectrum games more often...

Thanks, will tray again.

I am confused and stumped.

First, I am trying to differentiate between the C64 game and the other one.

Second, some of the commands that you indicated do not work. I am using WinVice, and have tried to play it on both the 64 and 128 versions.

Can you let me know where you found the game, so that ...

I don't believe this. What an exercise in futility (sorta like school for some people, I guess). I suppose I could write it up, lest someone else stumbles across the game (credit to you with comments by me). Geesh...

I didn't find a TEST disk.

I'll see how I do.

I have tried to play this C64 game, but I am confused by the layout. I have figured out that typing E, allows you to move around east-west along the engine room. I have found the raft/rope but I don't know how to get or examine or do anything, and one of the passengers in the cart who has lost his ...

Thanks Doreen.

But I have not found the magnet. Any hints on where this can be found? Do you need to dismantle something? The riddles though, that's the tough part. It would be a shame if it is as short as you say. Why all those other objects?

Is there also a physics lab that I missed somewhere? I ...

Spectrum game as usual.

This game is premised on riddles to solve the problems. While one does not what one is doing, using Wordpad can give some clues.

Type INST to get some help.

There are many objects, some of which are unlikely to be useful. There is a limited number of objects you can carry ...

You can take the slab, but what good is it? Just like you can take the drainpipe, but don't know if this is necessary.

Glad you are on board, ladies, but...?

Thanks Dave,

I will be sure to try them when my "unfinished" stack shrinks a bit. I have visited Stairway to Hell, but not the other.

Hey, haven't heard from you for ages. Glad you are still around.

Examine the wallet CLOSELY.

To get to Rakeham Hill, first go back to the Manor House.

murder mystery

OK - time for some collaboration. Participants welcome!!!

Murder Mystery is a Spectrum game (yes, I know, I play lots of Spectrum games - if someone can tell me how to separate the text adventures from the arcade adventures on the BBC, I will certainly try them).

I am at the slab. I have visited ...

I've finished it too.

I suggest you double check your solution by playing the game again after you've typed it. It's easy to forget a command, or leave a little thing out.

There is no etiquette to posting. Type in any format you use, save it as a .txt file in Courier 10.

Jacob asks that you add ...

I haven't played this game, but will do so if you don't mind.

Try LEAVE ROOM.

All done. I'll write up the solution from both of us.

Most challenging thing in this game I think, is what to say (what the helmet says) where.

Yes, my mistake. I knew where the coins where, just not how to get them. Your list of objects and locations helped.

I am plugging along. Next is to tackle the maze, the the cage, and the cloth.

Does it matter that Boras/Boris is dead?
