How does one enter the university? Do you actually need to be carrying the newspaper?

Yes, I did manage to get out from the curate's room by going to the cellar but I can't remember how now. I will try picking it up first.

I tried to map out the cellar, but didn't find 6 dungeons, so I will wait for your map.

Thanks for clarifying what the Cochineal is for. But in the lagoon (you ...

OK. I gave the hymnbook to the curate, but how do I get out from there? You can take the spirit, but examing it takes you to the cellar.

On another tack, giving the cloth to the fairy (who said she needed a new garment), take you to a riverbank, where you see a Cochineal, and some meat and a lagoon ...

Thanks for the tips, gentleme.

I grew up in the pre-digital age, so I can only do so much. New research says that if you practise this stuff, you will get better. Problem is you have to practise consistently and a lot. The other thing is the older one gets, the easier it is to forget, or at least ...

Your hand drawn maps are probably neater than mine. I can now erase a few more arrows, give the diagonals aren't used.

If you can send a map under .jpeg I think I can open that. Though if it's bigger than 8 1/2 by 11, I haven't figured out how to make those smaller so I can print them.

Thanks Juan.

Funny way to add up points. If you can read the book without carrying it, what's the point of carrying it. Plus the fact that you need the absolutely correct verb, when another is allowed?

So, it looks like there are several options about to whom to give an object (e.g. hymnbook to curate or to priest).

"The padlock also appears to just be present and doesn't serve a purpose. Maybe these are part of a puzzle that was never finished."

More likely they are red herrings. BTW, maybe you ...

Thanks for the verb list. This will help.

I figured out ENTER/LEAVE. There are also hills to CLIMB.

Too bad about the brass key. Your are sure, eh? There is a padlock somewhere. Or given that there is a curate there who has "forgotten" maybe you give it to him?

Doreen, who also played the game with me, got 93%. Probably, some small thing I forgot to do.

Now, if you can find how to get even a touch higher score, that would be nice (though just for the satisfaction, not that I will play it again)

I'm having some trouble getting into the NVG site.

If the game isn't too big, can you send it to me.

I've never played an Amstrad game, is it may take me some time getting familiar with the emulator.

Yes, I did find my solution. I thought I had sent it to Jacob, but maybe I hadn't.

DROP CRATE, TAKE ALL, UP, DROP BUCKET, DOWN, TAKE TALISMAN, N, TAKE KEY, UP, UP, E, E, DROP LANTERN, DROP KEY, S, S, TAKE BUCKET, etc.

Let me know if you want the full solution, or as full as I got it (90%)

You're first author. I just did one thing.

I've added a few hints, and spelled out the unnecessary objects. Let me know if you want that, or I can send the hints separately.
