Oh phooey, Alastair - you couldn't just tell me? Even with a less obscure clue?

Good clue, Dave. Not too obscure. I'll think about it. Other than not having discovered a hidden object...

I think I am playing "guess the verb here". Assuming I have the object in my possession, I think STICK is an allowable verb, but whatever combination I try isn't working.

More specific help ...

OK - how does one get three buttons to be pushed and held, when one has only 2 "people", and the one with three arms can't get up the ladder?

OK - I see the carpet is necessary.

Since you need three people to do the self-destruct, I thought that the Jack was needed.

So, I'm going to need help here (once I manage to get the carpet, which I still have not managed to do).

I am having trouble following my maze of notes.

Please tell me - is the carpet necessary? And if so, how do I get it?

I first need to know how to get the carpet (who actually does this) and whether it is necessary.

How (and who were you) Dave when you went to the catwalk? How did you get there?

You guys have to be more specific when there are two characters.

Congrats Alastair about getting the password. Other ...

This is helpful.

However, I have tried and not been able to get the carpet.

Yo - no fair to pm hints, as we are stuck in the same places. Obscure is OK, but not too too.

Alastair, I thought I had rejoined ZED in the cellar. But then I wasn't sure. I guess I'll try again.

Since ZED is the only one who can get into the lift, how does key get the key?

Oh piss on this noise, as my friend used to say. I tried part of it, but not all of it. Kick, kick.

Are you fellows any further ahead with the picture clues? Any other ideas besides mine?

As the cassette implies a cryptic, is there a chance to play it somewhere, or is there a more obscure way of ...

How did you escape the cellar, Alastair?

Looking at the 6 picture clues -

I see waves or mountains;

Fe is a symbol for a metal'

Two pictures seem like music notations - the note G, and a natural;

And the last one seems to be the Greek letter "mu".

But none of this gets me anywhere.

Is there ...

My apologies. You cannot go down to get the king until you tie the rope to zed and then throw it. I though I did this before.

However, going east from the cavern where you found the cable, and exploring those areas - anything there?

Anyway, I did as you fellows suggested. The magnet clung to the ...

I know this is dumb, but how can you get the magnet? Since it is to oheavy to lift, how can ZED get the magnet? Since he cannot get past the turnstile, and north of the cavity (in the passage), there is no way to return to the boiler room where the magnet is? At least as the controller.

Altready ...

Nice to hear from you Alastair.

It's an intriguing game, though not always very logical.

I have no idea what the pattern means.

The clue on the manhole cover is more interpretable.

The door in the tiny room gives another clue.
Haven't yet figured out where one can play the cassette, esp since ...

When you examine the cassette it says it a book of cryptic poetry.

BTW - did you examine the manhole cover? It gives a hint of some kind.

I will do what you suggest, but does that get you across the chasm? The wand doesn't seem to help anywhere. Probably a red herring clue, considering where all ...
