Thanks Dave.

DRAW WATER doesn't work, but LOWER BUCKET WELL does.

However, this does not help me return. I notice that there is a hole in the bucket - does that mean something? All I can do is drink the water, I can't take the bucket.

I tried putting the cross in the bucket (which you can do ...

But I can't do that. Whatver I type (after killing Lucifer and getting the lamb) doesn't work, as the screen does not yield a prompt.

And I can't "draw water" without the lamb. I can't lower the bucket, either.

Dave is this something you can determine what is wrong?

Or is the game available ...

Obvious...duh...

I am having some trouble at the well. Riding the goat, I kill Lucifer, and the lamb follows me and I go east.

But the game seems to hang up? No prompt appears and whatever I type takes be back to the emulator screen (I am playing Caprice).

Is there something I must do at the well ...

Yes, I've done all those things, but cannot unpack. Will try again though. Maybe I used a different verb.

I've gotten as far as putting the sheep in the font, but I can't go up the stairway. I think I may need a verb here.

I think I packed the axe in the case. I'm not sure how to retrieve it, if I can.

At the carts, HELP (ask for it), ASK GROSS.

I think food is needed too.

I tried replaying without packing the axe, but then I could not carry all the supplies.

So I'm still stuck at getting the axe from the case ...

Sword? I don't have a sword? All there is when I do "down" is a rod.

Can you give me hints where, from whom, etc. do I get the sword?

Thanks

At this point, I don't have anything that the adder could have.

Yes, I thought I had tried to move the cupboard. I'll get back to you.

astral plain

Nice ambience and descriptors in this game. You play the part of a dead person who needs to solve problems before s/he can find? peace. Once on the astral plain, you can go in many directions. Once you follow some of them, there appears to be a dead end. This is an intriguing game, seemingly quite ...

This is a game originally written in German, apparently on a classical story, about a family emigrating to Australia. Opening the disk in Wordpad gives quite a few hints. However, after following them I find myself in the new land, without an adze.It would be nice to have fellow players with this.

other suggestions (or not)

As I had mentioned, I am exploring other text adventures on the Amstrad. I tried ARNOLD GOES (TO) SOMEWHERE ELSE. After getting stuck (and bored), I searched for a solution and found one out there. I tried it. Close to the end there was a mistake (the solution says you have to drop the scroll, but ...

After all the problems you had in sorting out the ROMS, I think this is too complicated for me, though the game sounds intriguing. One platform at a time.

I am following your original lead in playing unsolved Amstrad games.

I'll post as and when I get stuck.

I really did not add anything to the game. While it's nice of you folks to add my name, other folks did much more. I just followed along and asked questions. Couldn't even follow my own notes.
