Ha - nada.

Although I have made progress, I can't get the key from the room with the ladder. I know what to do with the treasures I have (at least I think so). Are the cards a red herring? I can figure out what to do at the carpet and the lepers. I have a pego but can't get past the door.

I think ...

Thanks Dave. It worked!!!

Don't beat yourself up about making mistakes. We are all human. The fact that you are spending all this time to help us is very much appreciated.

I'll save this to include in the solution, if and when we finish.

OK I played again without getting the diamond, but it didn't work at the dwarf.

OK - I'll send you the .tzx file (from the beginning of the game right?)

Can someone tell me how to do this in Spectaculator?

I frequently run into this problem. I follow the steps from the help file, but often it doesn't work. I'll keep trying.

Interesting.

I used the rope to go down into the mine, and the ladder in the bedroom (to get the bar of silver).

However neither Doreen nor I can make it out with the pickaxe.

Is there another tool that can be used to get the diamond? Either with or without "DIG"?

While this game abounds with ...

Ditto to what Doreen says. I too have not been able to get the pickaxe out of the mines.

Mapping the Spaghetti Maze is a chore, but it can be done.

I presume, Doreen, that you have gotten past the Orc.

That puzzle leads me to think that maybe one needs extra strength at the dwarf. Unfortunately ...

Dave,

At the dwarf, I've saved and restored so many times, it is getting more than tedious. I can't seem to kill him.

I've tried with carrying the sword, as well as the gun and the knife.

You're pretty sure that no specific weapon is needed? Or that you didn't have to solve the coal puzzle (for ...

Yes, fill the bottle and then use it on the parchment. But the hint you get is very obscure.

Still don't know what to do with/at the coal.

Throw a sticky goo at the electronic eye.

I wondered whether killing the dwarf was random. OK - I'll be patient. I suppose it's the same thing with all the ...

I am stuck at the same place I was before.

Hint- use the bottle (filled) before you rub it.

I am in Level 3 - no idea what to do at the hot coal location. I wondered whether the sock mught help but you don't get very far in carrying it (and there is no clothespin to put on your nose  Can't do ...

I am almost back to where I was when I stopped.

At the orc, FIGHT (not kill, or throw). I presume you got up the slop by drinking the beer.

Try killling the dragon first, before you take the pendant. It's probably best to not take the treasures until you are ready to leave.

Don't give the bones ...

The genie helps with directions somewhere
I have no note of a treasure in the sphagetti maze. Nor of running out of air. I also cannot find the magic cavern, from which east is the maze.
I ...

Another one of my unfinished games. After I typed part of it up, I made notes in pencil which I can't decipher.

I made a map, but I made no note of finding anything in the maze. There are a few dead ends. So I may need to play it again.

Do the genie's directions help at all?

unsolved games

Iwas browsing through the Spectrum game site and came across the 100 top games. I cross-referenced and otherwise tried to find solutions to these games. Only some were not available.

This is not an exhaustive search. I searched Jacob's site, the Tipshop and Dorothy's solutions. - It's all I got ...

Thanks for the hint about the coin.

I've tried buying each of the items, and using as simple a verb as possible, and having collected all the items at John's, I am no further ahead.

Sometimes simple is very complicated.
