Jacob, you really, really want me to play this game? Alastair runs circles around me, not that I mind, mind you. He is just so much better.

I will consider it, taking into mind that one more emulator is just one more thing I need to remember how to do.

Hope you enjoyed Sweden.

Gee - two great minds working on one puzzle - you don't need me. I am the slog-and-try-again type.

Let me know how you make out. At this point I am not ready to do another emulator. Can't even remember how the ones I have work!

Enjoy, fellow adventurers. Kepp us hposed on how you make out.

Well, I have 130 points, but appear to be stuck. The randomization is such that previous exits are no longer available.

The intoxicated guard keeps sobering up and I have not found a way to refill the empty vodka bottle. Can't get back to the strange room.

Also the lifts are temperamental ...

I am trying to play it, and believe you when you say probably no one ever solved it.

Of course, I looked at all the hints. If they are there, I look.

I noticed the random elements in places. Also the need to map thoroughly.

I probably should explore the house a bit more now.

I haven't had a chance to join in. However, I'll be pleased to do a "run through" of your solution, if you send it to me.

Since I can remember not much of this game, I can refresh my memory in the process.

It would not be fair to put my name to it, so don't.

Absolutely - check, check and double-check yet again. We have an "image" to maintain on this site, i.e for accuracy.

Re: 39 steps. I have a solution that I found out there, somewhere. So I suppose, you can write yours as well, as I never forwarded this one to Jacob.

If possible, write up your ...

Dave, do you mean generic threads as those games that appear to be unsolvable, i.e. bugged in some way?

That would be a good idea. People can then decide if they choose to either
a) see if we are all idiots for not being able to solve it, even after cracking it; or
b) not to play it.

My, my, fellows. No need to be modest.

Jacob, remember seventh star? We never did finish that one. Maybe Dave wants a crack at it. Me I still have my notes somewhere, but have completely forgotten about what was going on.

Thanks Dave.

I managed to get the solution to turn out logically (as best as that can be managed in this game).

Apparently you can SAY/TYPE CLUES if things are done in the correct order. Otherwise not. For example, if you give the medallion to Tinsel first, you don't/can't get the clues. Though I ...

Dave - can you send me the hints you receive when you type in SAY CLUES? While I got this before, I didn't write them down. On replaying in order to check the solution, I couldn't get that screen to come up, despite trying several things. I'd like to add this to the Hints section.

Things are not ...

OK - it's done. I'll write up a solution from the three of us.

Lord love us!! Thanks muchly Dave - never could we have done it without you. At least I don't have to add this to my unfinished stack.

This game doesn't have much going for it. There is no logic. If it weren't for Dave, I would have given up a long time ago.

OK - Dave - I am at the dragon. Other than the hint that he likes garlic bread, and that he eats anything I drop, how do I get past him?
