Grand Larceny

This is a joystick + input game put out my Melbourne House.

It's a C64 game.

There seem to be a few red herrings, or else I am missing the correct verb.

Any players out there who wish to join?

I would play along but I cannot find it in Stairway to Hell.

Can you tell me where I can locate this game?

barney brown and the chicago connection

I am playing this game, as it is in Jacob's solutions, but it only has hints and not a solution. C64 game, playable with WinVice.

Nice game. But I am stuck. I do not know how to enter the combination numbers at the safe.

Is there anyone who can help me?

I am a reasonable way into the game, so I ...

This game has very little logic in it.

Did you find the circuit-board? You don't put that in the computer. You need to give it to someone, who will give you a word. Use that word at a desk.

As if one should know this???

There are four desks.

The stuck drawer can be opened relatively early on ...

You need to have done everything you need to do because you can't get back.

Have you the rope? The correct verb is SECURE .

To see is, highlight it with your cursor.

Then just do what one usually does when there is a rope.

This was an idea suggested by a fellow player after the previous ...

OK - I will try that for Sam1.

I have made progress and here are some hints for Sam2.

Above ground:

You have already figured out the phone-box thing. You will need the newspaper, bottle, box, spider (not really the battery if you conserve) before you fall down.

You can drop the torch once you ...

I too thought of there needing to be another key.

Thanks for the tip about the battery. I wondered whether it is for the torch (which goes out soon if you don't swith it off).

When you try to examine the agent, he shoots you, so I suppose he is a "bad guy".

The sleeping guy sounds promising ...

Part 2 is interesting as well.

The key only works a limited number of times before it breaks.

Lots of objects. Do you think any might be red herrings?

Lots of places to get stuck:

What to do with the agent? Kill him or not?

What to do at the sleeping man?

Are you supposed to fix the computer ...

I am following along in the solution. I have the keys and the numbers. But I don't know what to do now and how and where to use the numbers.

You said - get sequence off cards - .

I have the chip and the card and don't know how to use them.

How to fix the microscope?

Are the card and chip ...

I have tried several ways and can't get the right sequence, which airport first, getting the gun, etc.

I get the suspicious lady, but then I don't have the gun.

Another way, and I don't get the card.

Sometimes I can't get the bus.

Finally got the signed requisition, but need the gun to get to ...
