That's me - the "great unwashed". Thanks, Dave
Having asked both Dave and Alastair for their help in games that I thought were not finishable, I would suggest/vote for a place where one could find "fixed" games, with someplace for about who fixed it, when, where the original was found (if ...

Re: Murder on the Atlantic (C64)
Maybe someone can help you "fix" the game? It's been so long, I cannot figure it out. If you can send me your solution, I will try and play it out. And see what happens.

Re: Murder on the Atlantic (C64)
I would love to read your "personal" walkthrough. Can't guarantee that I will validate this, but who knows? Don't remember nada, though the posts help somewhat. My PM is available.

Thanks, Dave.
I think I'll stick to old-fashioned text adventures, with few graphics and no sound. Not to mention random elements...

I agree that the latter books were not as funny as the first ones.
So we'll see what this one brings.
BTW what does MMORPG mean? RPG I think I get.

Re: Platform distinction
I have nothing to add to this discussion, except the (often relevant) principle, i. e KISS - keep it simple, stupid. There are people like me somewhere who may access this site. No apersions cast on information contributed so far. Just a warning that there may be newbies or neophytes or dummies out ...

Re: Lost or unreleased game you'd love to play
Speaking of HHGTTG, and this is totally off topic since it is about a book and not a game, Book 6 has just been released (at least in this hemisphere), written in Doug Adam's style. Maybe someone will "translate" it into a game? Eventually?

Re: Fixed games
Yes, good idea Dave. Not only you, but Alastair has "fixed" some games, too. Maybe others as well.

Re: Idea: browse for "unsolved"
I like this idea also. A "Help Wanted" kind of thing.
I had no idea you wanted to post all games on your site, rather than just games with solutions. This may explain why I was confused between the title "games" rather than "solutions".
Very ambitious project, if you ask me.

Re: Inner Demons
I'd like to ask two clues before asking for a direct help in proceeding in this game.
1)Have i used the "use rope" command in the basement too early because of a bug? After killing the demon inside the box you can't access the nursery any more.
2)How to access to the part of the house that scares ...

OK - I'm finished.
So now you can write to the forum, or to Michael directly.
A hint after you replace the light bulb. Examine things in the room again.
Another hint: the poison is needed more than once.

Sorry, I made a mistake where this game is found. Try if.archive site. Then go to Amiga games. Three of Michael's games are in the Macabre disk.

Re: Inner Demons
I am no further ahead. I wrote to Mark, who said he'd look at the code and get back to me in a few days. He said the mousetrap puzzle was finicky. I'll let you know when I hear from him.

Way to go!. I will pm you my solution, (if I can figure out how) and maybe you can figure out where you got the five more points.
