Re: Deliverer 1

Point well taken. I did miss the HE and should have known better.

I may be getting too old for this, missing all these cues.

OK - since you did not respond to my "suggestion" about writing it up, I will redo it. Then I'll have all these AHA experiences.

Re: Deliverer 1

Well, it's only written in pencil as of now, and not in the world's most logical order. I can and will have to rearrange the order of things to include the balloon, but I don't mind.

While, in a way, I agree that the balloon should be needed - missed that part of the message, when you go to the ...

Re: Deliverer 1

I got the scissors by inflating the cylinder, no balloon needed.

I thought I couldn't get the horseshoe because it was too high up.

So, all I needed to do was to wave the magnet? I wonder why I hadn't tried that before? Another duh" moment.

Yes, I ate the spinach.

I'm done now. Shall you write ...

Re: Deliverer 1

I know what I need to give Rydla. I now have 440 points.

However, I still cannot get the balloon to inflate. Even if I drop everything but the balloon, the cylinder, and the magnet.

I'm going to need something very specific here. I am stuck.

Re: Deliverer 1

Thanks for all this information.

I am having a problem getting the horseshoe. I now have 420 points, but maybe the order is wrong.

OK I'll go back from the scrap thing.

Re: Deliverer 1

I've made some progress (260/500 points), so I presume that is half-way through the game.

I've been to all the rooms/codes given to me in the library.

I managed to work out the puzzle with the crate/barrel/box, which was tough.

Got the scissors and cut the hair.

Found the docket and got a ...

Re: Deliverer 1

OK - I've figured out (sort of), the room layout. Now I am in the library corridor. Presuming I need to get to my cubicle. What do I do at the platform? As I am on it, and there is a microphone, what do I say?

Re: Deliverer 1

Thanks for trying this, Alastiar.

No I haven't fixed the robot. I haven't found the warble valve.

Can you give me a hint where it is? Please?

Deliverer 1

This is a Spectrum game written by Brian Parks, the prequel to Deliverer 2 (which was fixed by Alastair, I believe). Available at WoS. Deliverer 2 was written with PAWS/QUILL, but this one is written with GAC.

Anyway this game seems to have some random elements to it in places.

I have managed to ...

Re: Inner Demons

Jacob has posted the solution and hints (wrong date - my fault). Cllick on Games - wait until the drop-down menu disappears, then go to "I" and click on Inner Demons.

Re: Lost Temple of the Incas - Simon/Andy Wood version

Thanks, Dave.

This is rather a good game. Further information is found back in the forum archives of 2007 when Doreen and I were playing it. It's under the title Rick Laws: Temple of the Incas.

BTW - Jacob, you have an old solution sent by me of Laurence Creighton's game. Unfortunately I just ...

Lost Temple of the Incas - Simon/Andy Wood version

I have played this game, but am unable to finish it. I think there may be a bug it in.

Anyone willing to determine if it is true?

I can send a partial solution if you wish.

Ha - excuses!!! :P

Maybe I should do a cross reference check of all the solutions I have sent over the years and whether they are posted?
