You realize that I am not much further ahead than that...

Go to the 6th floor, open the window, go down, then open that window. You can do that for all floors, including the third.

I visited Dorothy's site yesterday. Awesome site, no? Apparently I missed Prisoner and Silver Mountain, but I downloaded 6 other solutions to 6 of my unfinished games. However, I do have more.
But I do feel bad about hogging all the air time, so to speak.
If you have an unfinished game, or Doreen ...

prisoner

How do I get the glue off, or not stuck to me in the first place?
What are the poles good for?
How to get Marvin to move?

I have the ring, the lamp, the poles, the skeleton (if I drop something).

Guido, considering where we are at with Silver Mountain, you may wish to skip this.

We'll give prisoner a go, with Doreen to help us. See you in the other forum.

Needless to say, there are no graphic representations about the magic words. I am not sure how to proceed without them. Is one supposed to go to these places and "see" them or do something else? Let's assume one had the graphic - so you would see a picture of an arrow, then go to the crossroads ...

sure you can

Ah, you can catch up. It's an interesting game, though frustrating, cause you need to imagine what would be in some rooms. And we're not that close to finishing.

Amby - don't drop the sheet.

Doreen - Managed to enter the force room.

There are magic words at three locations - what do I need to do to "read" them? Does it matter which order I see them?

The game is by Ian Turtle. At the beginning there is an axe, ladder, glue, twigs. A sign that says "knock and wait". You need to pick a lock. A prisoner with blue feet.

Is this enough?

If you've got the solution, then maybe you can help me, if others would rather not play. We can "unclutter" the ...

I know the feelings Amby <sigh>. I have had to start over recently as well.

I found that wearing the boots was usually only needed for two location moves. Knowing when the grarg patrol was coming, I wore the boots, moved two spaces (sometimes three) and then removing them, probably did not actually ...
