Advanced Dungeons and Dragons? All dumb and dumber?

Ah, so I needed to drop everything at the "tight squeeze" alcove? Now why didn't I think of that???

Somewhere I think you should find a dwarf (a pocket dwarf the game says) and he will push the button. I've looked and cannot find him. I'm not sure he is the same dwarf that pulls up the ladder. Drop ...

Re: dungeon

Terri - Have found a solution I did in June '89...

You need the sponge and dagger in the random maze.
Polish the mirror with the sponge.

say the words at the scratches at the giant.

Have the mirror at the basilisk.
move some dust.
say sirloin ??

enter flames.

If you need a full solution I can ...

Thanks for the info gentlemen. I downloaded one of the games and saw that it was a role-playing game. However, I was somewhat intimidated by the text/manual, so I think I'll pass, and keep my frustrations with two-word parsers, figuring out exotic verbs, etc.

Looks like fireworld was a red herring.

I think Doreen should write the solution, since she had it in the first place. My papers are already in the recycle bin.

Can either of you two gentlemen tell me where to find these two games, and what platform they are played on? I am tired of trying to solve my unsolved games, so need some new frustrations. Not that I am in your league....

once you climb down the rope, make your way back to the beginning. Go w, w, s, s, w, and you will bew done. Albeit with a score of 95 (versus 100???)

You atart at a grassy mound, where you need to find a spade to dig.
At the oasis you see a tree, need to climb tree, feel hole, and then need to go further to find the cavern with the flame. Then there is the maze. Very tricky. Try digging in every location. I have found two "entances" where you ...

Re: shalor

Hi

I too have not found a rope - It is a cord what you need.

I am hoping "cord" and "rope" are synonymous. And no, I have not found it.

I have found that it is bugged when you have the lit lamp you cannot drop it.

I am not sure this is really a bug. When you get the lamp, if you type "HELP ...

Yes, Doreen has been helpful. Many typos and problems here, I agree.

I don't think you need to go back to the fireball once you have the runestone. Just leave, and follow Doreen's directives. I don't think you even need to "tie rope" here; just climb it.

dungeon - D. Newton

Speccy game. I am stuck. Has anyone played this? I can help at the trapdoor location, but not much more. Challenging re what to do, but at least it's logically consistent ( to this point).

P.S. Just a few more to go in my "unfinished" stack. Then we can all start together... or play your unfinished ...

I am no further ahead than you. The gloves you find at the ledge do not seem to help, nor the food or the scroll at either of the two locations.

I think we need a nudge from Doreen.

I am so glad others are helping in this. I won't tell you how long this has been in me "to-do" stack. Thanks for participating and helping. I will try "knot rope"; of course I have tried every other verb.
