I checked out the game and see that it is my Alan Devey. In the Solutions section there is a solution for Dungeon of Maldor.

Is it possible that it's the same game?

If not, let me know and I'll play along with you.

I did some of those things, so I guess my problem is with the syntax,

At Roper's, I had the notebook but whatever combination of words I tried didn't work.

Yes, I bought Jemmy a beer, but nothing I tried then to talk to him worked. I have the credit card, but still no go.

Charts - those I haven ...

The verbs are your standard, common ones, with the exception of "complain". There are lots and lots of red herrings. First hint - go east, not west. This is not a long game.

Where are you stuck? This is a game with lots of red herrings, most of which waste much time.

Hints: COMPLAIN about the burger; check out the hole in the tree, for starters. If you're stuck further on, let me know.

Thanks Doreen

I am stuck again.

I have decoded the notebook message (not through any clues - I just like cryptograms)

I have hired the ferryman and visited those places, read the slab.

I don't know what to do with Jemmy, or Josh at the garage, or with Roper. Saying to him "TELL ME ABOUT CODE ...

Can anyone tell me how to interact with the characters? Do you put your question in quotations? (e.g. ".."). I have tried ASK, TELL, etc. and I get nowhere.

I tried to play this, and all I got was music. A small little icon says "joystick". Does one really need one to play the game? If so, that lets me out.

Once I get done what I'm doing, and I can't spend time outside cuz it's gloriously hot here) I'll give it a try. I don't play many C64 games, so I've never heard of it before.

lost children

I am playing Lost Children. When I try to buy the helmet - it boots me out of the game. Does anyone have an unbugged version of this game to send me?
