I have made a bit more progress.

I have sold $115.00 worth of stuff to the fence.
Used the rope at the timber, the oil at the rusty door, the cat where the mouse is, the stethescope at the safe, and the hammer at the glass bookcase.

Now I about to explore the elevator.

I too do not know what to ...

OK - I found what was in the cave, and got out.

Now what?

I go back into the pub where Ern is complaining about hooligans but cannot talk to him.

Any further hints?

I found the game.

How do you interact with the fence? Selling your possessions doesn't seem to work.

Can you give some hints regarding:

going west from the bar?
at the trash cat?
digging in the dirt?
fishing?
giving the cat something?
at the bush?
at the jail?

Or do I need to get further along ...

Tis "boost" should help for know. Let me see how far I get. If I need more, I'll write again. I'll probably need help with the language again.

Thanks

I'm not sure why you only have one match. I was able to light the torch at least twice.

Try OPEN MATCHES, STRIKE MATCH, LIGHT TORCH as see if that gets you further.

I have reorganized my notes. There appear to be lots of places and people that I don't know wht to do with. I am still at the ...

It's been so long that I don't know if I can help with the torch. My scribbled notes say that I strike the match west of where I find the bible. I will try to re-write my notes and organize things somewhat.

OK - I am in part 2.

Saw Judy, found Jemmy, asked the vicar about waymark, found and read the tombstones, got the spade and pickaxe, and am at the cave.

I presume I need to dig here, but again, language gets to me.

What about Josh at the garage?

Don't eat the burger - you will need it to get the squirrel out of the hole. This may take some playing around. Get yourself close to the hole, INSERT HAND, and then lure the squirrel out of the hole. There is something you need in it.

Keep the 10 pence till the end.

I presume by the glue you mean ...
