Synopsis

Plot

With the rain battering against the panes of the small round window, Bulbo inhaled deeply on the small clay pipe he clutched in his left hand and sucked the sweet-tasting smoke deep into his lungs. Life was good in the Shyre and Bulbo was happy and content - despite the inclement weather and the latest price increase in the cost of ale.

As the smoke coursed through his lungs Bulbo felt at ease with the world but all that was just about to change.

"Tap - Tap - Tappity - Tap"

As was announced by the rather loud tapping on the little round door, something that Bulbo was not very happy to hear as he was not that fond of visitors.

Notes

Originally an Adventuron game, John Wilson converted the adventure to run on the ZX Spectrum and Amstrad CP/M using the PAW, and to the Atari ST, Amiga & C64 using DAAD.

The Plus4 version is adapted from the C64 release and had John's blessing at the time.
