The authorities have received an anonymous tip that a bomb has been planted on a roller coaster. You have been called to investigate.
The adventure begins at the midway of the amusement park. You know that the saboteur will strike sometime tonight. All you have to do is stop him.
Notes
This adventure was published in Creative Computing magazine, vol. 8, no. 1, January 1982, pp. 60-83. This was the first (and possibly the only) adventure to load images from a movie stored on a laser disc, specifically the 1977 thriller Rollercoaster directed by James Goldstone and starring George Segal, Richard Widmark, Henry Fonda and Timothy Bottoms. The article in Creative Computing explained how to program the Aurora Systems interface connected to the Pioneer laser disc, but also gave instructions on which lines of the program to omit if you didn't have a laser disc. The article also included an adventure framework that you could use as the basis to write your own adventures.
Huh! Well, what do you know :) A laserdisc text adventure - there's a hybrid you don't see every day. I still own around 120 laserdiscs. Maybe it's time to start coding :)

Oh wow, this makes me want to dig my LaserDisc player and copy of that movie out of storage and get to tying as well!
