Synopsis

Plot

In the prequel, the mayor's daughter had been kidnapped by Jack the Ripper and you were the one who rescued her. Jack the Ripper was killed during the subsequent police chase, but not by your hand.

It is now 20 years later and you have eventually retired from the police force. All your old friends from Scotland Yard have just left after your retirement party. When you turn the TV on, you see a news broadcast that former police commissioner Snobish was brutally attacked by an unknown assailant and is in serious condition at the local hospital. This must have happened on his way home from your retirement party. You've got a bad feeling about this, so you set out to visit him. When you do, he has some very disturbing news. Perhaps that retirement was premature?

Notes

This was adventure #10 in the SoftSide Adventure Series (formerly SoftSide Adventure of the Month Club). It was published as a bonus on SoftSide CV and DV (the cassette and disk versions) with the SoftSide, issue 47, vol. 7, no. 2, February 1984.

This is the sequel to 'Jack the Ripper Adventure' and 'Jack the Ripper II' by the same author. You should play the games in sequence, as the prologue for this game gives away much of the plot of the first two games.
