Synopsis

Notes

The game was clearly adapted from by Vampire Castle by Mike Bassman; as the underlying map and puzzles are the same; they've just been rethemed slightly to match the new story.

The author of the Madam Fifi version is given as Gary Taylor in The Adventure Reference Guide by Mickey Schmitt, where it is listed as a TI-99/4A game.

The initial publication date of 1980 may be incorrect but the game dates to no later than 1989; which was when a sequel to the game was published.

The game was converted from an IBM BASIC version to Microbee BASIC by Alan Laughton in 1990.

Colin Appleby produced a version for NewBrain, from the Commodore BASIC version.

Jim Gerrie has created a version of the game for the TRS-80 MC-10.

The original Madam Fifi game appears to have served for inspiration for an Atari ST game, The House of the Rising Sun as well as the sequel written by James R. Davis.
