NIGHTMARE II - BUMBLES REVENGE

(Start in your bedroom where you finished part 1), WAKE (you start to drift back to reality but are
grated back by the long arm of the law... P.C. Bumble wants to know where the money from his wallet
is... you find yourself sitting in the back of a police car), GET CAMERA, EXAMINE CAMERA (it has no
film but a flash button), ROCK CAR (it rolls down the road and throws you clear... you find yourself
outside a stately home), EXAMINE CAR (police - there's something in the boot), LOOK, GET
FOOTPUMP, EXAMINE FOOTPUMP, GET PEBBLE, EXAMINE PEBBLE, THROW PEBBLE (you knock a piece of guttering
off), LOOK, GET METAL, EXAMINE METAL (not to be confused with a key), PICK LOCK (using the piece of
metal), LOOK (a snail is sitting on the door), EXAMINE SNAIL, GO DOOR (entrance hall).

D (it's dark), PRESS BUTTON (on the camera - the staircase lights up just long enough for you
to grab something) INVENTORY (it was a flat basketball), EXAMINE BASKETBALL, U, DROP CAMERA, PUMP
BASKETBALL, DROP FOOTPUMP, E, SW (brightly lit room), EXAMINE COUCH, EXAMINE LIGHT, EXAMINE DOCTOR,
EXAMINE DESK, LOOK, GET TIPPEX, EXAMINE TIPPEX, NE, EXAMINE BOOKS, (library where you are attacked
by a piece of paper), GIVE TIPPEX (to the psychotic bookmark - a secret passage is revealed), GO
PASSAGE (to a basketball court), THROW BALL (a really weird sequence finishes up with a knight
giving you a pair of slippers as a prize), EXAMINE SLIPPERS, E (changing rooms), EXAMINE CUBICLE
(you find a pile of clothes with a cashcard in it), EXAMINE CASHCARD, SE (outside bungalow).

S, SW (shoe shop), EXAMINE OWNER, GET ANVIL, EXAMINE ANVIL, BUY SHOES (cash only - perhaps a swap?),
SWAP SLIPPERS, INVENTORY (you now have running shoes), EXAMINE SHOES (spiky), NE, N, IN (changing
rooms), S (shower area), EXAMINE CUPBOARD (big enough to enter), GO CUPBOARD, GET BUCKET, OUT
(shower), PLACE ANVIL (in the shower to start the water running), FILL BUCKET.

W (ski slope), EXAMINE CAR, GRAB CAR (you miss and slip), WEAR SHOES, GRAB CAR (you are carried down
to the bottom of the slope), EXAMINE SNOW (the icicle falls), EXAMINE SNOW (it is beginning to
melt), GET ICE, EXAMINE ICE, MELT SNOW (you tip out the water and find a lost relic), LOOK (see a
frozen skier), DROP BUCKET, EXAMINE SKIER (you find a bottle in the dinner jacket), EXAMINE BOTTLE
(something rattles inside), EXAMINE JACKET (tie is here), GET SKIER (he is frozen to the ice), FORCE
SKIER, LOOK, GET SKIER, U, N (basketball court), GET SLEDGEHAMMER, EXAMINE SLEDGEHAMMER.

W (library), GET CROSS (holy), EXAMINE CROSS, GO PASSAGE, E, S (shower area), GO CUPBOARD (broom),
FIGHT BROOM, DROP ICE, LOOK, GET LINE (washing), OUT, N, SE, S, SW (shoe shop - you are stopped by
the blood sucking owner), SHOW CROSS (you dart up the stairs to the flat), GET NAILS, EXAMINE NAILS,
D, NE, N, IN (changing rooms), W, W, W, D, D (torture room), PULL TORCH,  OPEN BOTTLE, EAT TABLET,
GO DOOR,
CLIMB RACK, GET WALLET, SMASH RACK, LOOK (you see four small planks), BUILD STEPLADDER, DROP
SLEDGEHAMMER, GET STEPLADDER, U, U, E, GO PASSAGE.

E, SE (outside bungalow), EXAMINE LEDGE, LOOK, GET GRO (garden), EXAMINE GRO (plant for instant
results), S, SW (shoeshop), GET CROSS, SHOW CROSS (you dart upstairs to the flat), EXAMINE SPEAKERS,
LOOK, GET MAGNET, EXAMINE MAGNET, EXAMINE BOX (small garden), PLANT GRO (it grows before your eyes),
EXAMINE GARDEN (big enough to enter now), ENTER GARDEN, GET NET (fishing), EXAMINE NET, EXAMINE POND
(more like a pool), SWIM POOL (to the other side), DROP STEPLADDER, SWIM (back), IN, D, NE (busy
road), EXAMINE CARS (you see pigeon), CATCH PIGEON, DROP NET, GET PIGEON, EXAMINE PIGEON, SW
(shoeshop), GET CROSS, SHOW CROSS, GO BOX (window), SWIM.

EXAMINE TREE, CLIMB TREE (an amusement park is here), W (arcade), PLAY 1, PLAY 2, PLAY 3, STICK
MAGNET (the machine short circuits), FIRE GRENADE (it fires into the distance and you hear a child
scream), E, NE (queue), GET APPLE (toffee), EXAMINE APPLE, SW, D, SWIM, IN, D (flat), NE, N, IN
(changing rooms), W, W, SW (brightly lit room), GIVE APPLE (the doctor gives you a stopwatch), NE,
GO PASSAGE, E, SE, S, SW (shoeshop), GET CROSS, SHOW CROSS, GO BOX, SWIM, CLIMB TREE, NE (queue),
EXAMINE QUEUE, JOIN QUEUE (you find yourself at The Disc ride), PRESS START (you go through to the
exit).

W (café), SIT TABLE (formal dress only), WEAR TIE, SIT TABLE (you finish up in the kitchen doing
the washing up to pay for your meal), EXAMINE POT (you notice a hook on the rim), THROW LINE (it
catches and you climb inside), EXAMINE CAT (vicious - about to go for the kill), DROP PIGEON (the
bird deals with the cat!), E (you are inside the pot... the skier thaws out and thanks you for
saving his life... he hands you a signed baseball and opens a secret door), EXAMINE BASEBALL,
EXAMINE DISPENSER, INSERT CASHCARD, W (into tunnel), OUT (kitchen).

N, E (bowling alley), EXAMINE PINS, ROLL BALL (note the score number), W, S (kitchen), GET LINE,
THROW LINE (tunnel), E (into pot), TYPE 10114520 (handfuls of cash is thrown out of the machine),
LOOK, GET CASH, PUT CASH IN WALLET, LOOK (you see a very secret door), GO DOOR (to a sealed room),
EXAMINE BUMBLE, GIVE WALLET (this nightmare is over… Bumble takes the money and slaps you around
the face (and why not?)… he then escorts you back to your room and fades away as you return to
reality).
