If you like interactive fiction and/or text adventure games, you should love Warp. At long last, it's possible to download it and play locally. The game world is large and full of wonders, and the writing style is excellent.

Parser/Vocabulary (Rating: 8/10)

Parser is highly advanced, and allows complex commands plus macros. It would be nice if it understood more synonyms and actions, but is so much better than Colossal Cave.

Atmosphere (Rating: 9/10)

I really liked the atmosphere of a quiet seacoast town with lots of mysteries.

Cruelty (Rating: Tough)

Some of the puzzles are very subtle and hard to figure out, but you can do it if you pay attention to every possible clue. There are many ways to die or screw up your game so you have to start over. But part of the fun is figuring out the best way to solve everything in the right order.

Puzzles (Rating: 8/10)

I thought most of the puzzles were a lot of fun.

Overall (Rating: 9/10)

Still one of my favorite games of all time.
