This was the first "Frenetic Five"-game and it was made in 1997 for IFComp where it placed 13th out of 34. Thus it is a bit old school but in a good way - you can quickly restart to investigate if you missed some objects in the beginning you might needed later so it can be unwinnable but no big deal if you save often. It is a superhero comedy and is well written. The implementation is good with a few spots here and there, especially with a few ambiguity problems. And a few puzzles I would probably never had guessed without a walkthrough. At least I lost patience when I stopped having fun. After looking at the walkthrough I had fun again.
Pretty good, made with TADS. A few ambiguity problems here and there.
A well written superhero comedy with many funny bits.
You can get quite far into the game without ever knowing that you missed some objects in the beginning of the game. However, it doesn't take a lot of time to replay the game, it is not a huge game.
Mostly good puzzles, a couple of puzzles I would probably never had guessed - at least I stopped having fun while trying so I resorted to the walkthrough for those two.
A pretty good game with satisfying puzzles and a good sense of humour. If you can accept that you might need some help a few times, it is a very good game. I look forward to playing the second and third game in the series as well as the brand new prequel submitted to ParserComp 2022 (I am currently stuck in that one).
