Quite simply - awful. The only reason to play this is if you have a desire to play all of the Fergus McNeill games, or in my case, to document some piece of gaming history that otherwise would be forgotten . . .
Part one is simply a large number of locations and the quest is solved by finding two objects. That's it, no puzzles, no other characters to talk to. There are half a dozen pictures of typical Quill quality.
There are a couple of locations where you get stuck - into a dark cave / swamp etc. - and a couple of bugs with the bottle of wine item (which actually has no purpose) - something like drop bottle, which leaves you with the bottle, but drops the wine in the bottle!
Quill so two word entry but very limited. If you are not familiar with the Quill you will struggle.
Reasonable atmosphere is the only reason to play . . .
Easy peasy.
there are none!
Scores 1 for atmosphere.
