Merged titles, please delete

#1 Post by iamaran »

Please delete http://www.solutionarchive.com/game/id% ... lovia.html which I have merged into http://solutionarchive.com/game/id%2C71 ... %2C+A.html as they are definitely the same game.

Thank you.

Duplicate Game: Crash / Lost in the Desert

#11 Post by Strident »

When trying to track down the author of Lost in the Desert (no luck yet... but I'll keep my eyes peeled when I read back through old adventure stuff) I noticed that...

Lost in the Desert
http://solutionarchive.com/game/id%2C30 ... esert.html

is the identical game as...

Crash
http://solutionarchive.com/game/id%2C2644/Crash.html

Both are duplicated on other sites, including World of Spectrum. I will notify ZXDB about the issue, as changes there will at least filter through to Spectrum Computing... which is the more accurate of the two download sites by a long way now (as they pull in the updated info and new games from ZXDB).

I would suggest that Lost in the Desert is the actual title the game should be under, as it seems to be the game that was on The Guild's Quill Thrill Vol. 1 compilation.

Duplicate Game - Eurorun

#13 Post by Strident »

Eurorun seems to be in the database twice, namely...

https://solutionarchive.com/game/id%2C2786/Eurorun.html

https://solutionarchive.com/game/id%2C2787/Eurorun.html

I'm not sure if that's intentional?

Here's the corresponding Spectrum Computing page... https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/index.p ... 6&id=21828

Hmmmm....WoS lists the game as coming in two language variants, Slovenian and Serbo-Croatian. From what I know, which admittedly isn't a lot, the languages are sufficiently different to warrant two db entries.

Cool. I was having trouble loading in the other variant so wasn't sure if it had just been misinterpreted. The different instructions seem to indicate two different languages, anyway, as you say.
