Re: Adventure Challenge
The Child Murderer (Richard Widmark plays Cassetti, the murderer of Daisy Armstrong in that film)
Re: Adventure Challenge
None of you are right.
You have to use the fact that only certain people are circled (and more importantly which ones).

Re: Adventure Challenge
A question: feel free to ignore it - are the actors important? Some of them are fairly easy to recognize (John Gielgud, Richard Widmark), but others are not - and it's been aeons since I've seen the film, so....
Re: Adventure Challenge
The actors are not important. Just the position of the circled characters, taking into account the arrow in the middle.

Re: Adventure Challenge
Ok, a wild guess:
2010: The Text Adventure Game
The selected actors on the left are #3, 4, 6, and 7 - a total of 20
The selected actors on the right are #4 and 6 (or 7, depending on how you count) - a total of 10
Looking at them as divided, this becomes 2010.
Did that make any sense?

Re: Adventure Challenge
Nice thinking, but unfortunately not what I had in mind.
The numbers you've got are wrong. You didn't take into account the arrow in the middle.
Also, you should not divide the actors/ characters into two groups.

Well, I was certainly trying toshornet wrote:You didn't take into account the arrow in the middle.
Re: Adventure Challenge
Actually, the direction of the arrow is more important.
Re: Adventure Challenge
New hint:
The arrow indicates the order in which the characters should be counted.
Also, one of you was very close to the correct answer.
